Outside the Moment of Relay | New Prints by Paul Holt
Towers have been a strong cultural symbol since ancient times. Though the cell tower is obscured from this role, its function has had a profound influence on contemporary culture. Using color and groupings of images to separate towers from their usual roadside place, new visual references emerge. Outside the Moment of Relay is a series of these towers, their backgrounds abstracted by way of multiple inking techniques and contrasting forms.
