Our grand opening show features the work of long-time Gallery Frames employee, Daniel Carrillo. His photographic work focuses on downtown Seattle architecture through the use of an antique 4x5 view-camera and traditional black and white film. In contrast, his printmaking is an unsettling exploration of the human figure in both modified and literal forms, usually executed in mezzotint, a technique revered for its long tonal range and velvety rich blacks.
Showing July 6th - 27th, 2006
Reception - July 6th from 6-9 PM
