Seattle photographer Shannon Welles strives to make palpable the whispers of history held in a place. In a sense the camera becomes a listening device, tapping into a world long gone for the briefest of moments. She has thrown off technology for a toy camera, and a more intimate image making process has emerged. This show will feature her signature lith prints as well as new works on wood with beeswax.
Showing August 3rd - September 1st, 2006
Reception - August 3rd from 6-9 PM
